Stewardship 2022

Return, Rekindle, Rejoice

Dear Cathedral family,

A few weeks ago, Deacon Ryan kicked off our stewardship campaign for 2022 by announcing this year’s theme, Return • Rekindle • Rejoice.

Ryan’s thought-provoking sermon emphasized that true gifts come from the heart. With the realization and understanding that all good gifts come from God, we are compelled to give from ourselves, our souls and bodies in thanksgiving for the gifts we have been given.

Our goal this year to encourage everyone to consider the gifts you have been given as you prayerfully pledge your financial support to the Cathedral for 2022.

With grateful hearts, let us:

  • Return: ourselves, our minds, our bodies to the love of Christ as we do good work through the ministries of the Cathedral.
  • Rekindle: our hearts, our minds and our commitment to love and serve our neighbors in this community and beyond and, who, as the Cathedral family, will continue to respect the dignity of every human being.
  • Rejoice: in the gifts that we have been given — our lives, our families and friends, and most importantly in the salvation that has been lovingly given to us by our Redeemer.

Over the weeks to come, you will hear from fellow parishioners as they share their thoughts about what they love about the Cathedral and why they give. You will receive information about the Cathedral’s finances and the importance of your pledge. Together we will pray for our stewardship efforts and, with God’s help, celebrate the results.

Please join us in celebrating our spiritual life together as we each begin our journey of stewardship discernment this fall. You can make your financial commitment by returning your pledge card to the Cathedral (by mail or in the offering plate) or by making your pledge online. Thank you for your continued support of Grace & Holy Trinity Cathedral!

Yours faithfully in Christ,

The Very Rev. Dr. Andrew C. Keyse
