Be a Docent
Be a part of this amazing, dramatic art exhibit. Become a docent! A docent is a knowledgeable guide for an art exhibit. One doesn’t have to be an art teacher or art student to be a docent. No experience is necessary. Training will be provided.
This is a wonderful opportunity to share our space with extraordinary art and showcase the Cathedral this summer. Volunteer docents will greet visitors, conduct tours and show Kansas City’s First Friday’s visitors what this exhibit and the Cathedral have to offer.
As a volunteer docent you will receive information in advance (by e-mail) regarding the exhibition, volunteer dates and shifts. Training will be conducted July 5, with an opportunity to meet the artist and have an advance look at the exhibit.
