Thank you to our Cathedral musicians for another wonderful season of musical offerings! Both the Trinity Choir and the Trinity Handbell Ensemble are on a summer hiatus. Our primary music season runs from August through Trinity Sunday each year. During the summer months, our Cathedral musicians rotate from week to week, to allow each member time to rejuvenate and prepare for another busy year. This past season, the Trinity Handbell Ensemble offered music at 5 services and the Trinity Choir sang for approximately 100 services and rehearsals! I’m proud to work with such skilled colleagues and grateful for their dedication to our Cathedral. ![]() As members retire, graduate, or move away, the Trinity Choir is eager to recruit musicians to join our ranks. Although our services are routinely enhanced by beautiful music each week, this is no accident. It requires constant effort and attention from dedicated members. Later this summer, we will announce several recruitment initiatives, including an “open house” gathering with the choir. Whether you are interested in joining the choir or simply enjoy their beautiful music, we’d love to see you at these events. Bring a friend — the more the merrier! We are also pleased to announce that our beloved Messiah Singalong will return this December. During the past 9 months, we have raised significant funds but more remains to be done. Watch for more information this summer about how to contribute. Please spread the word about this glorious event. Dr. Lucas Fletcher, Director of Music |
