Evensong, May 18 at 5 p.m.
A service of Choral Evensong is offered by the Trinity Choir. This contemplative service includes hymns, scripture readings, prayers, chanted Psalms, canticles and a choir anthem. With its origins in Archbishop Thomas Cranmer’s Book of Common Prayer (1549), Evensong is one of the most uniquely Anglican liturgies and is sung in cathedrals and parishes throughout the world.

Documentary Screening: Metamorphosis
Sunday, May 18, 6 p.m., Common Room
Metamorphosis
is a testament to the power of resistance. It captures the struggles and triumphs of women from diverse backgrounds—teachers, judges, filmmakers, dormitory directors—who, despite losing everything, continue to fight for justice. We will screen the documentary Metamorphosis: Women’s Resilience to Opposition in Turkey and then have a facilitated discussion on the plight of women political prisoners in Turkey. We will be joined via Zoom by the producer of the film and several survivors of the on-going genocide.
