“I sing a song of the saints of God, faithful and brave and true…”

This is the first line of Hymn 293, that I hoped we sing at our Hymn Sing tonight. It is one of my favorites since I was a child and still is to this day. Unfortunately, the hymn sing is canceled tonight due to illness.

Other events this weekend include the Halloween costume party tomorrow in Riverside and a lunch gathering at the Rock Island Bridge following the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday (details can be found later in this email).

Also this month:

October 16 – Movie Night, 7 p.m.

October 17 – The Faces of Mental Illness program, 1-3 p.m.

October 18 – Evensong, 5 p.m.

October 25 – Fall Festival, following the 10:30 a.m. service

October 30 – An Evening of Jazz, 6:30 p.m.
