I’m looking forward to Youth Sunday at our 10:30 a.m. service this week. We will celebrate all the young people at our Cathedral and, especially, all those who will be graduating from any school this year. Thank you to Clare and to all who will participate in the service. Once again, all youth and clergy will be in matching Youth Sunday T-shirts, and the bulletin cover will match the shirts. I hope you will join us for this uplifting and inspiring service.

I will be meeting with the Wardens this week to make sure everything is in good order for me to begin my sabbatical leave on May 15. Our Senior Warden, Steve Moore, is canonically in charge of the Cathedral in my absence. Canon James and Mother Clare will handle all liturgical duties, along with Deacons Barbara and Richard. There will be at least one Sunday during my sabbatical that supply clergy will be with you on Sunday morning, I ask you that you please make them welcome. Don’t forget our Parish Picnic will take place on Sunday, May 24, the Feast of Pentecost.
