From the Desk of Dean Andy • 10.24.2025

I’m not sure if we’ll have farmers or dogs, but we will have a lot of fun playing BINGO this evening. Tonight at 6 p.m. is our Halloween Bingo night in the Common Room. Bring snacks and drinks to share and join us for a rousing few rounds of fun.

The fun continues on Sunday as we will gather as a parish family after the 10:30 service for our annual Fall Festival. Next weekend we will celebrate as a family the Feast of All Saints’, remembering especially all who have died over the past year. Then, the following weekend, we will come together as a Diocesan family for our annual Convention. I am thankful for all of these gatherings, and thankful for all of you, as family.

Fr. James, Deacon Barbara, and I will be heading out this Sunday afternoon for our Diocesan Clergy Conference in Branson. Please keep us and all the clergy of the Diocese in your prayers as we gather for conversations, learning sessions, and worship. The conference concludes Wednesday afternoon. Due to this, there will be no Wednesday Eucharist on October 29.

We haven’t had a financial snapshot in a while. Here is where we are month to date and year to date on our budget through September 30, 2025:

Revenues:

MTD Budget $106,886; MTD Actual $95,235

YTD Budget $1,555,511; YTD Actual $1,446, 670

Expenses:

MTD Budget $146,639; MTD Actual $149,884

YTD Budget $1,456,398; YTD Actual $1,402,905

Please continue to pray for one another, for our Cathedral family, for our nation, and the world.
